New Year, New Location!

Happy New Year!! We certainly hope that everyone enjoyed a wonderful holiday season with family, friends, and of course great food! We are so excited here at Mai Oui! Catering and Events to kick off a new year with some exciting news. We are MOVING!! That’s right, because of all of you and the wonderful support that you, our clients, have shown us over the past 14 years, we are over the moon to announce that we have outgrown our current location. We will be moving into a much larger facility so that we can continue to provide stellar food, world class customer service and top notch event coordination to the growing number of clients that have entrusted Mai Oui with their special events. Our build-out is coming very close to completion and we can’t wait to unveil this new space to our trusted clients and new customers alike. Check out some photos of the fabulous transformation taking place at our new corporate headquarters.

We decided that the best way to create the most efficient work space for our growing business was to build one from scratch. So we took two office suites and knocked down walls to create one large catering facility. Our new kitchen was built from scratch and, as you can see in the first row of photos, everything from the plumbing trenches, to the flooring, and oven hood had to be put into to place.

Ceiling tiles were lifted to update the electrical and old offices were opened up to create large open spaces and state of the art equipment is being put into place. The last photo on the row above shows a large walk-in refrigerator that will soon be the home to all of our delectable dishes as they go through the stages of being prepped and served at our wonderful client’s events. Great progress has been made over the past few months and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. With the final pieces of kitchen equipment going in this week we can finally see how all of the hard work put in by our owner Karen Bassham and our construction crew has come together to create the most fabulous new space for Mai Oui! to grow into for years to come.

Again we could not be more thrilled for the upcoming move that is scheduled for the last week of this month. What an amazing way to spend the very beginning of our 14th year in business. We really do understand how much our fabulous clients have supported us up to this point and we want to be sure that each and every one of you know that you all played a roll in getting us from our lovely little office to our dream facility. Thank you for your business, your word of mouth referrals, your wonderful reviews on Wedding Wire, The Knot and other social media outlets, and most of all for allowing us to play a small part in the special events of your life. It is through the endless support of our long standing clients and our new clients alike that has led us to a level of expansion that we could never have imagined. Trust us, we are still pinching ourselves!

It is our promise to continue to provide you, our clients, with five star customer service and amazing food. We commit to bringing you the comforting feeling of being in our home no matter how large our facility may grow. We are now just so thrilled that we can offer the Mai Oui! experience to even more wonderful clients, businesses and Brides. We will keep you posted on the official grand opening of the new space and please check back on our blog for the photos of the completely finished space.
